As I was starting to read this online book about Perl (seriously, don’t know what got into me), Media Temple posted a link to an SEO article on ThemeForest.net that struck me as idiot, so I thought I’d write about it. Brought up the WordPress interface, and there it was, Randal Schwartz’ picture and a comment that looks nothing else than authentic.
Yes, I got my first comment on my blog by TWiT people! Hurray, I was kind of hoping for that, I love all of Leo Laporte’s shows, which includes FLOSS Weekly of course.
Coincidence, Randal is the Perl guy on FLOSS, and as I was just starting to learn Perl, that struck me as yet another good blog post, albeit a bit empty, so here is the real content.

I agree, the tips are perfectly ok. My title is slightly exagerated, but the second one is so much like polution on the web I don’t even want to read the whole article (although I did).

If I was to respect their stuff, my web site would be named like this: Pacoup.com, Tech News and Stuff about my personal life you don’t really care about to have in your bookmarks.
Ok, maybe I exagerate, but seriously, you DO NOT get better SEO with a title like that. You just get a stupid truncated error on Google search results in the place of your site’s title. Think about it, that’s like polution.
